Welcome to Miss Alma’s Bed and Breakfast, a charming bed & breakfast located in the historic town of Mason, Texas.  Miss Alma’s  is an unhosted guest house accommodating up to 6 guests.  Being that we are a guest house, that means that you have the entire house for the night.  It is not just a bed for the night; our guests don’t stay with strangers at any time.  We are uniquely designed for those seeking the pampering of a bed and breakfast while experiencing the privacy of a home.  .

This beautifully restored large Victorian house was built in 1877.  The upstairs was added on in 1907. It is furnished throughout with beautiful antiques. Whether you are a vacationing couple wanting to unwind and relax, celebrating an anniversary or birthday, in town on business or here to visit family and friends, Miss Alma’s combines big comfortable rooms with soothing vintage charm.

Miss Alma’s is conveniently located on main street just a short distance to the lovely and historic town square. Tour the shops downtown, enjoy a meal at one of our restaurants, or just sit back and relax with a cup of coffee on one of our porches.  We are also located 1 ½ hours from Austin, San Antonio and San Angelo just in case you get the itch to head to the city for the day.
You are invited to stroll around the grounds nestled among century old pecans and watch the birds playing, squirrels scampering and occasionally deer grazing.  We have three porches for sitting and enjoying the gentle breeze of the afternoon. 

Amenities at Miss Alma’s Bed and Breakfast:

• Antique furnishings, hardwood floors, beaded wood ceilings, and original woodwork throughout the house.
• Large, spacious guest bedrooms, all with soft cotton linens and with sparkling clean baths.
• Downstairs bedroom has 1 king sized bed with an adjoining bathroom.
• Upstairs:  2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
• 1 full sized bed
• 2 twin sized beds
• The downstairs living room offers satellite television.
• Two dining rooms are available, 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs; each seats 6.
• Charming atmosphere for couples to unwind and relax, celebrate a birthday or anniversary.
• TV and free wireless Internet access and a telephone for local calls.
• We welcome corporate, business, state and government travelers.
• Generous continental breakfast.
• Beverages and snacks are always available in the refrigerator.

Bed and Breakfast Rates, Reservations and Policies
Rates:  $125.00 per night for 2 people, with an additional charge of $25 per night/per extra person.
Policies:  Well behaved children are welcomed when booking the entire bed and breakfast.  Parents are responsible for any and all damages incurred during their stay.  Charges for damages are assessed at replacement value. 
We are a smoke free and pet free historic home.  For our smoking guests, we have provided seating outside on the front porches.  No pets are allowed on property.  A $200 cleaning fee will be assessed to guests violating this policy.
Check In/Out:  Check in time is 3:00 p.m. or later.  Occasionally we can accommodate an earlier check in time if necessary.  Please check when making reservations.  Check out time is 11:00 a.m.
Deposits:  Advance payment for your entire stay is required to secure your lodging reservation.
Cancellations:  Miss Alma’s Bed and Breakfast requires 10 days advance notice for a full refund of your deposit.  Any cancellation less than 10 days will not be refunded. 
Special Occasions:  If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary or a special event, please let us know when making reservations.
